Wireless Charger for all Qi Standard Devices, 5V / 1A
What is Qi?
Qi ("energy flow" pronounced "Chi" by the Chinese and "Qi" by the Japanese) is a universal standard for wireless charging of battery operated devices like smartphones, cameras and etc. which contain Qi technology.
Power transfers through electromagnetic induction. Inductive charging eliminates the traditional use of cables but rather wirelessly through magnetic fields. The greatest advantage of having universal standard charging technology is so that different manufactures of mobile devices and or charges will be compatible with one another. So all Qi enabled devices will be compatible with any Qi charging transmitter, even if they are from different manufactures.
Many industry giants such as Nokia, Samsung, Sony, LG, Motorola, HTC, etc. have already adopted and integrated the Qi universal charging technology into their product line of mobile devices. The Qi technology list of compliant devices continues to grow as more manufacture incorporate this wireless charging technology into their product.
