RJ45 Ethernet Splitter / Combiner for 1 PoE Cable to 2 PoE Devices - (2pc/set)
Here at PI manufacturing, we look to service our customers with a networking system that is convenient and efficient. In response, we provide an RJ45 ethernet splitter / combiner that transfers power and data through one Cat5, Cat5e, or Cat6 Ethernet cable for two PoE devices. Each RJ45 connector supports up to 30 watt per port and 10/100/1000 data rate connection when using a standard AT PoE switch or injector. This PoE combiner / splitter also works with non PoE devices, using a router or switch to send data to a computer, NVR, DVR, etc, while only using one Cat 5 / Cat5e / Cat6 ethernet cable. Send power and data up to 100m (328ft) with this reliable setup, while keeping the installation quick and easy.
Diagram 1: (2 PoE devices over 1 networking cable)
In this example, connect the two RJ45 connectors into a PoE switch to send power and data to two separte PoE cameras, while only using one Cat5 / Cat5e / Cat6 ethernet cable. The female RJ45 connector on the device side allows the user to run more ethernet cabling if needed. Sending both ethernet (data) and PoE connections together will restrict cable distance to 100m (328ft) between network ports.
Diagram 2: (2 PoE ports for 1 PoE device)
In this example, the PoE cable uses two PoE ports to power one PoE device with a maximum output of 60 watts. The difference between diagram 1 and 2 is the amount of wattage output to the device. As shown in diagram 1, most common PoE switches only output a maximum output of 30 watts per port. However, in this diagram you can achieved up to 60 watts by using two PoE ports to power one device. Sending both ethernet (data) and PoE connections together will restrict cable distance to 100m (328ft) between network ports.
Diagram 3: (2 Non PoE devices over 1 networking cable)
In this example, connect the two RJ45 connectors into a router or switch to send data to two separate devices. This PoE combiner / splitter also works with non PoE devices, sending data to a computer, NVR, DVR, etc, while only using one Cat5 / Cat5e / Cat6 ethernet cable. The female RJ45 connector on the device side allows the user to run more ethernet cabling if needed. Sending data over ethernet is limited to a distance to 100m (328ft).
