Great ValuePIDB-RACK-18V-1: 18 volt model only. First impressions with few run hours are that this a Godsend due to its unusual 18 volt output and low price. This is an entry level quality power supply but upon inspection is seems well thought out. The case is very thin steel and arrived bent but not seriously as packaging was not adequate. It has a switch on the rear with plug-in IEC power cord but no breaker or fuse and no filtering. It does have some very minimal MOV type voltage suppression so be sure to add real protection ahead of the unit. The unit is rated for 10 amps with 18x500mA outputs and PPTC type overload protection on every output. The power distribution board seems well made and has an LED for each output. The power supply is unidentifiable but looks to be built OK but has very small heat sinking and this tells me that you need to keep it in a cool room. The fan is VERY loud but does move good volume for its small size. There is no filtered intake but the power supply does use a plastic shroud to direct air over the tiny (non-finned) heat sinks. Personally, I'd pay $10-20 more for a couple of bells and whistles as mentioned, but if it lasts, it will be a great value.
