Rated at an IP rating of 68 for dust and water protection, these M12 connectors also feature a locking thread design for a secure fit and vibration protection. With the Cat6a cable, M12 connector, and RJ45 connector, data transmission is rated for up to 10Gbit Ethernet connections. For shielding, our cable features a foil twisted pair - each pair is individually shielded with a metal foil. The purpose of the additional foil on individual pairs is to limit the amount of cross talk between them and allow 10 Gigabit speeds to be reached without interference. In addition, these cables are able to provide superior performance in harsh out conditions due to its industrial Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) cable jacket that can handle temperature changes, UV exposures, and fire resistance.
