Run from the distribution point or cable to the subscriber, drop cables improve on FTTx applications due to its use in field termination. Drop cables make it faster and more efficient to access the fiber when removing the PVC jacket. Additionally, its bend insensitive design provides more robustness when bent, resulting in less power loss.
Our fiber drop cables feature a LSZH jacket that resists and reduces the amount of toxic fumes and chemicals. This type of jacket is commonly used in military facilities or in less ventilated spaces where open air is not as abundant.
A steel messenger is also included, allowing it to withstand tension, great for aerial installations where the cables are run from pole to pole.
