1000ft Bare Copper Cat5e Bulk Cable, 350MHz, Stranded Wire
Typically used for making patch cables, the PI Manufacturing Category 5e (Cat5e) stranded wire cable conforms to the ANSI/TIA-568-C.2 standard and is UL listed, meeting safety and product specific requirements. Our Cat5e cables come in a bulk spool of 1000 feet and inside a pull box. 2ft increments are marked on the cable for keeping track of the usage.
PI Manufacturing bulk Cat5e stranded cables are typically designed for use in making patch cables where they can be used to connect workstations to wall plates, switches, and other equipment. Stranded wire cables feature multiple strands that group together to form one strand. Unlike solid wire cables, stranded wire cables offer the same resistance, but with added flexibility. Adding more strands also adds more flexibility, possibly adding more life to the cable when vibration is taken into account. Due to the higher attenuation of stranded wire cables, these are mainly used for short cable runs.
