Return Policy and Procedure
PI Manufacturing stands by its products and understands that sometimes you don't receive what you expect. If you would like to return, repair, or exchange a product, please follow the steps outlined below.
How to Request a RMA
To return an item, you must get a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To request a RMA, please follow the procedures below. Any merchandise return without a RMA number will be returned.
- You may either submit the RMA online using our interactive form or download the PDF form and fax it in to 909.598.1430.
- Orders eligible for return, repair, or exchange will be processed and reviewed by our RMA department.
- RMA numbers will be voided, if defective merchandise has not been received by PI within 14 days after a RMA number is issued.
- Walk-in exchanges without pre-issued RMA numbers will not be served.
Our Return Procedure
You may return a product for refund, replacement or store credit within 30 days of the order shipment date. All returns must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA #).
If we shipped you the wrong product or it was damaged on arrival, you will be eligible to return the product within 30 days of the purchase date. PI will refund or replace the product (including shipping) provided that it includes all the accessories and manuals in its original packaging.
If you ordered the wrong product or simply just changed your mind, we will refund you for the purchase (minus the shipping cost), provided that you return the product in its original packaging (all accessories and manuals are intact) and the product falls within 30 days of the purchase date. Also, please note that a 15-30% restocking fee may be accessed.
After you receive the RMA number, you will have the option of packaging the product and sending it in to us at our expense (if the product is DOA or you received the wrong product). All returned packages must include:
- The original packaging (All accessories, manuals, software, etc. Improper packaging may void warranty).
- RMA number clearly marked on mailing label and shipping containers.
Warranties
PI Manufacturing provides a 1 year warranty on all cables and non-electric parts. During this period, we will repair or replace all merchandise which proves to be defective. However, we will not warranty any product which has been subjected to improper freight handling/shipping abuse, neglect or unauthorized repair or installation. The warranty also will not cover products installed with non-PI components and products with broken seals and assembly trace. Additionally, products direct from manufacturer may or may not be covered under the 1 year warranty. Warranties may be limited on some items and are covered for a period of 90 days.
In special cases, extended warranties are given on products depending on requirements. Please contact us for more details.
All custom cables are non-returnable and non-cancellable.
