Insert the cd. At this screen, you will see these folders. After the software is installed, mount the camera and plug in its USB cable. You may also connect the audio cable to the line-in port on the computer, which allows the webcam to additionally operate as a spare microphone. |

The "Found new hardware" window will come up. Select "No" and "Next"

Select "Install the software automatically" |

Allow the software to install. |

Click "Continue Anyway" |
|
Allow the installation to finish. |
|
Click "Finish" |
|
Go to "Programs"->"USB 2.0 Web Cam" |
|
The Livecam window will appear. |

Go to "File"->"Set Capture File" |
|
Type in "sample.avi". You may also change the folder to save to. |

Go to "Options"->"Preview"
A live picture should show. |
|
You can switch between the regular or zoom lens by using the top toggle on the camera.
Adjust the focus by using the dial on the right side of the camera. If using telephoto, you may adjust the light sensitivity by using the rear dial. This helps for using the camera at night. |

Go to "Capture"->"Start Capture" |

Click "OK" |

The video capture will begin. |

To stop capture, to go "Capture"->"Stop Capture"
To play back video, double click on "sample.avi" in My Documents. (Make sure that you had previously set the capture file to "sample.avi" and not "sample") |

To change the resolution and frame rate, go to "Options"->"Video Capture Pin" |
|
Snapshots can be made by pressing the capture button on the USB cord. A capture preview window will appear, allowing you to save the picture. |
