Keystone FAQ and Tutorial  

This tutorial shows how to connect an RJ45 keystone jack to Cat5 networking cable.
Connecting a keystone to telephone and video wiring will be similar to the steps below.  

Tools used in this tutorial: Keystone for Cat5E [KYE-5-RT-BG] Bulk Cat5e cable [CP-C5E-ST-1K-YL] Wire cutter [HT-206] Wire stripper [HT-501] Punch down tool [HT-334B]

Connecting networking cable to keystone terminal block.
	Make a straight cut of the cable.
	Strip the jacket about 1.4" from the end, using the stripper. Rotate to strip the jacket, not contacting the wires.
	It should look something like this.
	The keystone has a color code sticker for either A or B wiring shemes, on each side. Select either A or B for both sides.
	Untwist the exposed wires.
	Place the exposed wires up to the keystone block. Each wire will go into the slot indicated by the color code.
	Orient the punch tool so that the blade end is towards the outside of the keystone block. Push down on each wire until the wire is at or near the bottom. You may push slightly to cut the excess wire on the outside of the keystone block. *The HT-334B tool can swap ends to 110 format by rotating the twist-lock towards the silver bearing, and then switching the end.
	It will look something like this.
	The keystone caps may now be placed over the wiring.
