The parts used in this tutorial:

Note that the keystone comes with a crimp handle and a plastic tie.
|
|
Strip the CAT6 cable end about 1 inch.
|
|

Spread out the wires of the cable.
|
|
Thread the cable thru the keystone.
|
|
Spread the wires needed on both sides. Follow the "B" color code on the sticker (this gives standard CAT6 wiring, which is TIA/568B.)

|
Push down each wire onto the center holder and outer holder.
|
|
Make sure each wire is straight between the two holders.
|

Close the keystone most of the way.
|
|
Insert the handle and clamp together.
|
|
Trim the excess wire.
|
|
Insert the tie wrap, secure the cable jacket, and trim.
|
