Tutorial for MP3-S9601A MP3 alarm clock
On the back of the unit, the is an SD card port, and a USB port. This allows SD cards or USB thumb drives to hold mp3's. There is also a stereo line-in jack and a microphone. The unit accepts AA batteries to be used as a portable boombox.

To play an mp3, insert a card or usb thumb drive, press the green mp3 button on the remote, and then "play". Switch between tracks by pressing left or right on the remote.

You can also play mp3's by powering on the clock (press and hold "play" for 2 seconds), and pressing the leftmost button to switch to mp3 mode (select either SD or USB).
To set the time, put the unit in standby mode (hold the play button on the unit for about 2 seconds).
On the remote, press the time button (the one with the clock icon).
The unit will power on.
The date settings will come first. Set the month, day, and year. Use "left" and "right" and "play" on the remote to change and set numbers.

Set the time of day.
To set the alarm, press the bell button on the remote.

Set the alarm time.
Set the alarm day range. Here, we have selected Monday to Saturday.
Set the snooze.
You can set the alarm to wake to FM radio, buzzer, or mp3.

For mp3, select mp3 (SD or USB) as source and the track number. Here, we have selected to wake to track 2 on the SD card.

My SD card is not playing mp3 files.
- Make sure the card is well seated.
- Set the volume using the remote.
- You can try backing up the data that is on the card, and reformatting the card in Windows.
- Test with another card.
