Mini HDMI to HDMI

The Mini HDMI to HDMI cable was introduced in HDMI 1.3 for use with mobile and handheld products. Referred to as the Type C connector, the mini HDMI connector is smaller than a standard HDMI connector, but still has the same amount of pins as a standard HDMI connector and with the same features as a standard HDMi connector.

Though used primarily with mobile phones and portable devices, the HDMI Type C connector should not be confused with the newer micro HDMI (Type D) connector, which is also designed for mobile phones and portable devices, but also incorporates HDMI 1.4 features such as Ethernet and 3D capabilities.
