Micro HDMI to HDMI

The Micro HDMI to HDMI cable was created in order to accommodate portable devices such as digital cameras and smartphones with HDMI out. Designed to be smaller than an HDMI cable, the Micro HDMI connector was made to fit portable devices, but still allowed content to be viewed in high definition. This allowed devices such as the Droid X or HTC Evo 4G with HDMI out to view pictures and video onto a LED, LCD or Plasma television with ease simply by plugging in the Micro HDMI end to the smartphone and then the HDMI end onto the television.

New tablets such as the BlackBerry PlayBook as well as other similar tablets will incorporate Micro HDMI outputs. New HD cameras and a wide range of other similar devices have also been released with the new Micro HDMI output.
