The VGA Video Extender over Cat5 from PI Manufacturing Corp. allows you to extend the distance between the computer system and the display monitor by up to 150 meters (500 feet).
The VGA extender allows you to connect up to 4 display monitors; 2 locally and 2 remotely. The local unit of the VGA extender pair receives the video signal from the computer and then broadcasts it to two display monitors. It then transmits the signal to the remote unit of the VGA extender pair through a CAT5 cable (up to 500ft), and then the remote unit broadcasts it to two more display monitors.
Applications
1. Ideal for setups that require you to place the display monitor in public, but keep the computer system away in a private location that is safe from public use.
2. Useful for presentations, demonstrations, or broadcasts.
