The HDMI extender over Cat5 / Cat6 Ethernet network cable wall plate kit is a HDMI extender that can be installed in-wall. The wall plate acts like a standard HDMI wall plate to allow the plugging of a high speed HDMI cable to your HDTV. Cat5e or Cat6 cables are run from the wall plate to another wall plate on another side where you can plug in a Blu-Ray player or videogame console, such as a PS3 or XBox 360. The wall plate HDMI extender is perfect for home theater setups where you need to hide messy cables and organize your devices in a closet or media room. Lengths can achieve up to 80 feet at 1080p resolution without the use of power adapters.
