It uses 2 Cat5e cables to extend the distance of your HDMI cable by up to 150 feet without requiring power. Mainly used for organized and clean setups requiring all cables to be hidden from view (e.g. use the HDMI-CAT5-4 to pul Cat5e cable inside the walls from your HDTV to a shelf or cabinet), the HDMI-CAT5-4 is the perfect solution for enjoying high definition content, such as Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, and more without obtrusive devices or cables laying around.
